Tigard LaborWorks : Equipment Operator (Metal Buyer)
The Metal Buyer/Equipment operator would assist the manager in the purchase and process of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Job duties :
- Safely operate equipment including forklift and front end loader
- Move product/materials in and out of warehouse
-Load and unload trucks and/or trailers
-Select and purchase materials according to specifications
-Utilize knowledge of metal grades
Physical Requirements :
- Some repetitive mechanical work
-Frequent lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, walking, kneeling, and computer dexterity
- Must be able to lift up to 49lbs unassisted
-Ability to drive an automobile
