Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Provides general labor support to onsite painting crew. Conducts job site walk with lead painter to
understand job site activities and scope. Performs and maintains job site safety and participates in toolbox safety
training. Establishes a good working relationship with lead painter and team. Provides the highest quality of customer
service while maintaining our core values of Service, Knowledge, Integrity and Satisfaction. Performs other duties as
• Relocate paint and supplies at job site to keep crew well stocked and maintain schedule.
• Pot tender, fill paint sprayer buckets from 5-gallon containers to keep product available for machine use.
• Run on site errands for lead painter.
• Continuously cleaning to keep job site up to standards and free of hazards to include sweeping and vacuuming.
• Collect garbage from job site and stage for removal according to site plan and best practices.
• Perform Pre-job set up, verify all required tools and equipment are clean and ready for work.
• Learn how to verify materials.
• Learn how to conduct equipment check and ensure equipment is functioning.
• Act as spray line holder when team members are on an elevated lift to ensure lines stay clear of lift movement.
• Will learn masking and sanding processes to SKIS standards.
• Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures and safety requirements are adhered to.
• Accurately report all work time in UKG and work functions to lead painter or supervisor.
• Participate with team to maintain and enforce job site safety; understand site safety plans and fall protection
plans (where appropriate).
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers, vendors, general contractors etc.
• Learn from the lead painter how to determine the best method to complete the job based on customer
requirements and meet with lead/superintendent to review work orders instructions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:
• Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of
this job.
• Must possess valid Washington driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Pass criminal background check (where appropriate).
• Relevant work experience in the construction industry, preferably in commercial painting. This is a labor/trainee
position; therefore, attitude and desire will be weighted more than or equal to experience.

• Must have mobile device to connect to UKG, WorkGlue, Site Docs, Outlook, Teams and Jot-forms.

• Ability to lift, bend and carry 30-50 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to carry 2 five-gallon buckets of paint occasionally and tools frequently.
• Ability to walk, bend and stretch frequently.
• Ability to set up, climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather and temperatures.
