Job Description
LaborWorks is always hiring for general labor and construction! Having your own transportation is always preferred but not required. If interested, please apply with your resume or give us a call at 425-275-5867. Our assignments last anywhere from a day to several weeks. The ideal candidate will be able to do the following:
- Preparing sites: Removing debris and hazards, cleaning, and loading and unloading building materials and equipment
- Operating equipment: Digging trenches, backfilling holes, compacting earth, and operating heavy-duty equipment like bulldozers, cranes, and excavators
- Building structures: Erecting or taking apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures
- Following plans: Following construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by coworkers
- Applying materials: Preparing and applying construction materials to build structures or fill gaps (e.g cement)
- Operate power tools and handtools, such as jackhammers, saws, and drills. Assist tradesworkers, such as electricians and plumbers, with their duties.
Requirements:
Some companies may require background checks and drug screening.
