JOB SUMMARY:
You will be expected to assist in the production and transportation of asphalt, as well as properly complete all other associated tasks and paperwork involved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gauge tanks and record results accurately
- Inspect tank farm areas for signed of leaks or releases of asphalt materials,chemicals, or hazardous waste
- Notify Management immediately of any release of asphalt materials,chemicals, or hazardous waste
- Immediately contain any release of asphalt materials,chemicals, or hazardous waste
- Load trucks with the proper products and proper amount of products
- Correctly complete all paperwork associated with loading products
- Make tank transfers, blends,batches when necessary and correctly completing all associated paperwork
- Hook up tank cars and tanker trucks correctly for unloading and complete all associated paperwork
- Unload tank cars and tanker trucks correctly for unloading and complete all associated paperwork
- Disconnect tank cars and tanker trucks correctly for unloading and complete all associated paperwork
- Operate wheeled equipment (pickups,forklifts,and large trucks)
- Notify management of equipment or process failures
- Complete all other assigned tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of application process
- Must pass drug and background check
- Must be able to handle physically demanding and repetitive tasks
- Good can-do teamwork attitude
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
LENGTH OF POSITION:
Permanent Monday-Friday position
