Job Description

POSITION TITLE: 

Fulfillment Lead

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Processes work orders, locates product, and packs orders for shipment in accordance with the production schedule and customer  specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick and package a variety of materials that require a limited assortment of packing procedures and techniques Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage 
  • Consolidate various items for shipment in accordance with standard operating instructions 
  • Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping 
  • Count and sort various product items 
  • Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages and handling boxes in preparation for shipping  Ensure accurate shipping information is attached 
  • Produces at quantity and quality levels in accordance with production requirements 
  • Maintains area, worktables, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition  
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High School diploma or equivalent  
  • Knowledge of routine picking procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures preferred Skilled in reading specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders 
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical ability and ability to use various assembly tools 
  • Requires basic arithmetic and skill to measure, count and weigh products and materials 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented

 

 

LENGTH OF POSITION:

  • Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending, pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs 
  • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination 
  • Requires near visual acuity 
  • Requires working around and operating departmental equipment 
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility 
  • Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances
